THE AADARS AGM took place last Friday at our club venue. New officials and committee members were elected. The outgoing chair person had held the position for a number of years due to the pandemic and this was our first AGM since 2019.
We look forward to continuing success under the new officials.
The club recently held a small table top sale which raised a decent sum towards our new portable club equipment. The sale of our old club radio gear has also now concluded. We should see the new portable shack at the next meeting.
Our next club meeting will be on the 12th of May at 18:30. Please feel free to visit if you’re interested in the hobby. New members are welcome.
OUR new chair person, Matthew Reynolds MW0KAX (below) is a keen Amateur radio enthusiast who can regularly be heard on the hf and vhf bands. He has recently started activating and chasing with SOTA. He enjoys homebrew construction of equipment and aerial systems.
